Ciao
I've joined as I'm considering buying a new Stelvio. At present I ride a 1250GS but getting a bit P*****d off with BMW prices and the build quality and their attitude (my preferred dealer is brilliant). Maybe I'm just looking for a change so would welcome any advice regarding foibles, good or bad.

Welcome to the GT Forum. Guzzi is about as opposite as you can get that German marque, including dealer support and related. The reward is in the machine itself. They are not for everyone. Hope you get a ride on one to see if it's a fit for you. Enjoy/Cheers.

Thanks. I had a sit on one today and they encouraged me to take a test ride. Certainly the seating position is good and the engine sounds lovely. Noticeable surge when putting it into first - bit of character - which I like. Cracking deal at the dealers but that expires end of the month so I won't be getting that but they did say they would do their best to look after me. I'm going to lose a lot off my GS so it's going to take a lot of thought and a long test ride so will probably be waiting until the weather gets better
