Hi all, my name is Tim from New Jersey. I've moved over from Triumphs by way of a 1200 GS and a Royal Enfield to now being a Guzzi enthusiast. I've had a 2021 V85TT for about 2 years now. I use it primarily for commuting and I just picked up a 2023 V7 Stone Special Edition last month. LOVE. I appreciate the ride comfort. I appreciate how easy it is to do routine maintenance (including valve clearances.....I am SO done with the whole shim-under-bucket thing). I love the visceral feel of being on these machines.

I love the 850 unit. It's just the right amount of power for the county roads I ride here in NJ. I put a set of Denali D3s on my Stone last night to keep an eye out for the deer at night. We have MANY where I live. Great to be a part of the group.

Congrats on the new V7👍. I've had my V7 III for three years now and it's the most satisfying bike, overall, that I've owned since the mid sixties. These bikes do, indeed, have a special feel. A year ago I bought a new Yamaha XSR 900 thinking it might replace my Guzzi but after a few back to back rides I could not see a reason to let the V7 go. I now alternate my rides between the two and enjoy the V7 more than ever.

Congrats and welcome to the GT Forum! Be forewarned, Guzzis are addictive as you are seeing. Hope you'll add both to our Registries below. Enjoy the site, and be sure to click on the (GTM) STORE tab top of page for any needs you may have. Cheers!
