I had a left heated grip part# AP8706527 on order for 3 months from Harper Moto. After a couple of phone calls the owner told me that part was discontinued. Piaggio never bothered to tell him. I got a refund.
I was browsing through the AF1 website and discovered that the left heated grip for the V100 part# 1D003485 looked identical and was cheaper than the NLA Norge grip. I took a chance and ordered one (last one in stock). Today I spent a couple of hours and installed the new grip. It is indeed identical and works perfectly.
You would think that Piaggio would have superceded the old number to the new part number but in their great wisdom they did not.
I'll call Mr. Harper and let him know for future reference.
P.S. Good thing I had to remove the gas tank to access the connector. All the rubber and foam on the underside of the tank had crumbled and was in my GTM open air box.
