I keep scraping the under carriage/kick stand. Especially in left hand corners with bags attached. I am 220 lbs (230 prob clothes/boots/helmet) and & ride mostly alone. I have the Matris fork set up with 10 wt oil and a Eibach 250 lb spring installed on the stock Rear shock. I do carry tools etc in RH saddlebag. I have rear tour box off and on. Front fork seems adjust fine for handling and comfort.

The pre load damping screw turned 9 clicks out from full hard. . 1 is fully closed and 11 is medium 14 is normal.

**And 25 - 100% full evolution turns of the shock adjustment wheel from full soft toward hard. I think there are 35-38 full turns from soft. I *never hear any clicks in the turns so I just count full turns of the adjustment wheel.

How does this compare to your Norge set up? Perhaps I could be smoother thru the curves - IDK?

A custom rear shock that GTM can get for you may help. I put one on my 1100 Breva and it make a big difference. Also hang off more so you have effective lean vs actual lean. By a bit of hang off, you distort the tire and get the same cornering ability as leaning the bike further, but the bike actually leans less improving ground clearance.
