Just got it firing!
Ciao,
Time to introduce myself. I have often (daily) been lurking around here in this great forum since I joined in July 2021 (actually was here before I joined). I will post my -21 V7 850 Centenario and VIN to the registry thread when I have passed this step by sending this first post.
But first I must express and underline my appreciation to this forum. It's such a well-structured and well-moderated knowledge base with an almost endless number of posts to read, threads to review and follow, and so much to learn from all you responsive, experienced and courteous contributors.
Where and when I think I can contribute or add value I will - but with all posts and all the great and swift responses from everyone here, I guess I will never be considered a very frequent poster.
I'm a Scandinavian Italian bike lover (living 50/50 in Sweden and Norway) and have only ridden Italian bikes since the early 80's (starting with Laverda Jota). I'm a kind of an emotional keeper and haven't changed bikes very often. Should have kept them all. I still have my -80 Ducati 900SS bevel head, bought used in 1988, and will never sell. I'm also the type of guy that love to work on and painstakingly modify my own bikes to suite my needs and always keep them fit for fight.
The Ducati is however currently somewhat in bits and pieces for a refurbishment which is why I bought the V7 for daily use to commute to work and enjoy all winding and curvy roads over here. For some unforeseen reason, the V7 has had all my attention since I bought it new, minus some attention I give my wife's Indian Scout Bobber in parallel.
I apologize for a bit of a long introduction but considering I haven't posted anything here for the first 3 years I guess you guys can live with that.
Ci vediamo qualche volta nel forum e buona giornata.
Arrivederci!
Disclaimer: I didn't realize that my username, MotoGrappa, could be confused with Bill Hagan's company Moto Grappa in Virginia. I wasn't aware of this company when I selected my longtime identity also used in other forums. This nickname just reflects my strong passion for Moto Guzzi and Grappa.
