Oil Filter fyi for 2007 Norge (2-Valve heads)

My Prescott Guzzi dealer installed a HifloFILTRO HF551 spin-on oil filter on my '07 Norge. He sells them for $11.

The box says "HF551 Replaces: Moto Guzzi 30153000" At least it screws on smoothly and does not leak.

The spin-on oil filter is external but hidden in a deep pocket on the outside of the oil pan. Only a thin walled socket-type filter wrench will work. Problem: the box does not say what size filter wrench will fit.

The perfect-fit item is the 74 mm size from Advance Auto Parts. It has a 3/8" ratchet opening on the bottom. About $10.
