Hi everyone. I am going to be completely honest. I am joining because I am hopelessly skunked by a problem with my 1997 1100 Sport I. I understand this is not the place to post the details of my problem, so at some point soon I will be describing the problem on the proper forum.
So in regards to an introduction, I am a lifelong motorcycle freak and all things mechanical mechanic (maybe I should say "tech" or "technician" ?). I am 67 years old and probably owned nearly 100 motorcycles over the years, for the last 35 years or so mostly Italian and mostly Guzzi's. I had a couple Laverda's and still have a Duc 748 and Aprilia RSV but most were Guzzi's and I still have four. The above mentioned 1100 Sport I, a 1998 V11 EV, a 2008 Norge and a 1974 Eldorado. Been all over the US and Canada on them. Been to Mandello del Lario ( not on a bike of course). I am at the end of my rope on the Sport.

Welcome.

You "probably owned nearly 100 motorcycles over the years."

Obviously a bachelor or -- as another moto-enthusiast I know does -- only buys red motorcycles ... so his wife, who pays no attention except to the number in the garage, never notices. :giggle:

Great roads in your part of the world of the sort that, as you well know, Guzzis shine.

Bill

Welcome to the GT Forum. Hope you'll add each to our Registries in each section. Start in the Spine section with a few searches first. See you there. Enjoy.
