I too did not like 'sliding down' the seat as many of you Stelvio owners have remarked about so I had my seats reworked. I found a nice silver color for the top of the seats and had them stiched in red. Turned out nicely and no longer any problem.

Looks fantastic, did you use gel or heated inserts? By any chance did you see what the seat pan design is that makes it so flippin heavy?

Cheers

No inserts, sort of a spur of the moment decision to have it redone. I took the seats to the shop and left them and did not see the pan uncovered. Yes it is quite heavy, must be a quality piece.

What area do you live and where did you get it done. I have been thinking of doing it on my Stelvio. The package seems to get squashed everytime im riding especially now a days that Im riding two up. Looks nice BTW!!

I'm in St. Louis but any upholstery shop should be able to redo your seat. I told mine I wanted the seat more level so they shaved foam near the rear of the seat and built up the foam towards the front. I am glad I had it done.
