Side stand delete

I have not had the side stand switch on the V85TT cause any glitches off road so have not thought about it. If I were to do anything, I would buy another switch to get the connector and then use the connector to make up a jumper cable with wires connected in configuration to match side stand retracted (use it only for off road riding). That would allow for normal side stand use with safety switch on the street and avoid changes to factory wiring.

If your bike is losing power on fire roads, make sure to select off-road mode on the dash. Otherwise, the traction control cuts power and it could make you think the side stand switch is bouncing and causing the issue.

Anyone have delete their side stand switch for fire road use. Dint found noting here. V85tt.
We did a bypass for one customer that broke his off-road. We just pushed the pins out at the plug and built a loop to connect the circuit.

I deleted my kickstand on V7 after kickstand mods and because it was annoying. Made a connector with a loop to bridge it so I don't cut into wiring.
