Hey Guys,I need some info/input on a problem I've run accross.I got a "skunk stripe" seat off ebay, thinking it was the standard California item and thought it would be a simple bolt on deal.Surprise! After getting it and realizing I had no way of mounting it to my '77 T3,I started searching for any pictures of these seats to see how they mount.(I have been going through the same scenario with a solo seat, but that is another story). The seat appears to be from a Cali II (?) since the portion for the passenger is basically flat, instead of sloping. If anybody has the necessary bracketry they would part with,I would be interested,or at least if I had pictures of them maybe I could fab something.I will try to attach photos of the seat.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Steve

I've got nothing to help, but for reference, what you have is the short seat that (for the US models) was used through mid-1984. Here's the long seat that was used for some of the 1984 models and then everything thereafter. It's pretty clear what Guzzi did to make the pan longer.

This is mine after I had it recovered (using a better seat pan than the one above):

Thanks Daniel,so I have a '84 or earlier Cali seat.I saw a rear rack for a '80-something on ebay a few days ago but saw nothing on the front of it where the seat could attach, like I thought it would have.Hopefully someone will see the post and either have what I need or at least send me some pics and dimensions.None of the pictures I have been able to find show enough detail for me to see how it really fastens in the rear, and the front with the "U" shaped bracket looks as if it should straddle a frame tube of some sort but the Tonti frame doesn't have such a tube there.Or at least the regular T3 doesn't.Maybe the Cali II is different there.? Puzzling! Thanks for the pics.Steve
