• NOTICE: Starting March 24th, we've shifted to a mandatory user Account upgrade (donation) to post here. Once you've created an account, see the SITE SUPPORT section at the bottom on how to upgrade. This is to help try and cover site costs, and reduce redundant and argumentative posts. Search and read before staring a new thread, most topics are well covered here. We still require ONE post in the Intro section (bottom of the main Forum section list) to introduce yourself: NO QUESTIONS THERE - THEY WILL BE DELETED. Small $ donations via our link above will not be considered. Also to NOTE, the owner of this website lost his home in the LA Wildfire storm in January; See the USA section for more details. Your consideration and understanding on use of this site is expected. It's NOT a free social media platform - decades of time and personal money are invested. We have a zero tolerance policy on attacks. Do NOT write us direct and ask questions unrelated to the Forum, we do not offer Tech support direct, they will be deleted.

SoCal Fires

Todd is safe, but unfortunately his house is a total loss. He has insurance coverage so hopefully he will recover. Shop is far enough away in Orange County so all is good there.
Devastating news.
My wife and I stayed with Todd when we rented one of his Ride Malibu bikes, a beautiful property in a stunning location.
Glad to hear that he is safe.
Our thoughts are with all that have lost so much.

Glad to hear he's safe physically but hope he's not feeling too devastated about the loss of all the memories he must have collected in that place! I know I would ...

Extending that thought to any other members in the area.

Thanks for the outpouring of direct emails, I’m overwhelmed and cannot reply to them all. Though losing most of my personal belongings, only a handful of things were lost that cannot be replaced, including some inventory. Most of current pending order products are safe, as I know that will selfishly be the next question. Be patient, as I have no idea when I can get home to start digging through the ashes and taking next steps. I will be buried in paperwork and phone calls. The place I got to call home for nearly 15 years, will be forever scarred. People and pets that I considered friends, were lost in my area that have not yet been reported.

Todd, when it is safe to.go back to your place and the roads are open, can any of us lend a hand? Rakes, shovels, pry bars, screen frames for sifting ash, wheelbarrows. Battery operated saws. Generators. Food, water, buckets to poop in. Lighting. And cots to sleep on.
You will know better than anybody what you need and when you need it. Keep us posted.
Damn sad work. I had better bring some whiskey.
