Brake dust? What do your brake pads look like? What about ABS sensor? I have seen improperly positioned ABS sensors on BMWs rub on tone ring and wear away.

on a footnote, we did ride lots of ridin on new roads. could be kicked up from the road. Foothills Parkway was just recently completed we rode the whole thing end to end

That is probably what it is—road residue along with metallic dust from brake pads (assuming semi metallic pads).

Front wheel kicks up the road residue and it collects on rear wheel and the back of the bike.

I looked more carefully and enlarged the photos. I should have zoomed in when initially looking at them on the phone. It is clearly road debris. If there are any metallic particles visible, they would be normal from brake dust adding to the mix.

Too many close up pics, and not enough big picture pics. As long as the tire wasn’t rubbing the swing-arm, that can all be related to road surface abrasion tire residue. The BRP and road surfaces all around that area are uber abrasive (and chew up tires) due to design to drain water.
