Hi guys

Greetings from Denmark. I have an ‘84 V65C. Of course I have some issues... a minor one but none the less annoying is front brake rattle/creaking. It occurs at low speeds, especially just after using the brakes. I had the front fork seals leak all over the calibers and disks and the the creaking definitely got louder after fixing that and cleaning everything up.

I have changed the anti-rattle clip to no avail..

Should I try a dab of grease on the back of the pads??

All suggestions appreciated
(It’s the standard small brembo calibers)

Sincerely
Jake

Have you changed pads also after oil on them? Might be rusty caliper pistons, pull back the rubber dust seal and have a peak.

I was cheap and just cleared everything with brake cleaner s coupé of times. Stopping power seems acceptable . Just changed the rear pads for new - will try to swap them to se if this changes anything. Pistons look good..

Jake

Check your lines for cracks if rubber. And could be pinch bolts on forks or loose axle, wheel bearing going bad.
