I thought I might give my 2 cents on the V100. It is an excellent bike! Handles well, brakes excellent, great look, plenty of power for this 70 something dude, fuel injection that works (I left it stock), nice saddlebags, good gas mileage, comfortable seat (even with a hip replacement) and probably some others I can't think of right now. I don't ride as much here in North Carolina as I did for many years in SoCal. Quite frankly, it is boring riding here no twisties, mostly 2 lane roads that are narrow as you are either on the road or in the ditch. And all you see is trees, trees and more trees. I am in eastern NC so it is very flat. I had a trip planned for Asheville into eastern TN but that is out after Helene. The only thing I miss on the bike is a steering damper as the wind blows quite a bit here next to Hatteras the graveyard of the mid-Atlantic and the trees direct the wind out of every point on the compass and the crosswinds can be vicious on the sweepers hence the wish for some way to hook a steering damper up. Other than that, nothing needs to be done until I find some new gadget to put on the bike. So far: Biondi screen with MRA spoiler, adjustable clutch and brake pedal pegs, CRG bar ends, handlebar riser (new), engine protectors, took off passenger grab bars and saddlebags and center stand came with the bike. I took the bike up to Charlotte 265 miles to get the clutch o-rings installed and went through a rainstorm and those wings actually do work! All in all, kudos to Moto Guzzi as I have two old Ambassadors and this is my 6th Guzzi.
