Hi folks

Is it possible to support with the below technical information for my V7 stone 2014 related to the throttle body .
What is the name and general role of the part in the attached photo .. I had few pipes that went out of their location and I was wondering if it should be connected to another item or part ...

Appreciated ..
Thank you

At one time there may have been a vacuum line connected to the evaporative emission system. Cap that fitting with a BMW motorcycle vacuum cap. The BMW part number for that cap is 13 54 7 694 924

Assuming you are asking about the downward facing fitting?
Some bikes that come with that fitting do not use it, meaning it's not drilled through, but check it and cap it if it is, as it's an intake LEAK if so!
Scott, that is the crankcase breather drain if/as needed.

I was shooting in the dark on this one. GTM knows the real answer and I would listen to him if I were you.

More than likely, as he says, that stub isn’t actually drilled all the way through, meaning that no air goes through that stub.

Listen to the man and follow his advice. He knows what he is talking about.
