My brand new 2023 V85TT went straight into my garage this morning, did a quick once over the fasteners and found a few niggles.....and some good stuff.
1. The front end tubular frame had some rust on the bolt tubes, so cleaned and replaced the bolts. I'm guessing it's been standing wet for a while.
2. The rear sub frame bolts were seized and cross threaded. Had to run a M8 tap through the frame mounts and replace the bolts.
3. An Optimate tender lead was fitted direct to the battery....I bet the dealer left it there after charging the battery.
4. The stock exhaust header flange nuts were domed stainless steel...nice!

I fitted some SW-Motech pannier racks and rear rack - simples!

My trusty old Pelicase off the 990 Adv was fitted to the rear rack and a pair of Kriega OS-38/32 panniers were mounted.

Tomorrow, I'll fit the SW-Motech crash bars and a set of BBStorm Handguards......and take her out for spin.

I also have a (bloody expensive) Pyramid Front Fender thingy arriving along with centre stand on back order.

I'll be doing all the servicing myself, as I live too far from a reputable dealer and have my own Diag Tool for service reseting etc.

I'll up a couple of pics later, once sorted.

Good to know there's a quality forum here.

John
