Transmission bearings.

I wanted to share a couple of pictures showing where two transmission bearings were spinning in their bores. I will have to use a locking compound to secure the new bearings. Out of the three transmissions I have this was the only one that had spun bearings. The reason I'm using this transmission is that the gears and other components are in excellent condition. The other two I have show signs of severe rust pitting on the gears and shafts. Have read that Motoguzzi did use retaining compound on some bearings.

That is the old one. I gave the bearing puller one last good pull and it dislodge most of it's rollers. And yes I warmed up the cases to help with the extraction process. :)
