Transmission case.

Thank you very much. Most kind.

My Vapor Hone is finally fully functional.

The real star of the whole thing is the compressor I had to buy. It's a $5,000+, 120 gallon beast, capable of 38 SCFM @ 150 psi or 34 SCFM @ 175 psi.

Now that everything is finally functional, I offer vapor hone services with various media (saturated soda, glass bead, aluminum oxide, combination media). If you aren't familiar with vapor honing, it is a water-air driven blast cabinet where the water cushions the process and prevents removal of any substrate material from the part being cleaned and renewed.

BTW: Richard was EXCEPTIONALLY polite, patient and kind as I had to overcome numerous issues with unavoidable electrical power upgrades, compressor replacement, and my health recovery.

Not ONCE, did Richard complain or give me a grain of angst.

He was a true gentleman and I thank him immensely for it.

For example. It took me 4 days of painstakingly delicate and methodical work to successfully setup that compressor. She weighs over 1,100 lbs.

That was some tricky forklift work, by myself, for sure to get her off of her railroad ties shipping crate and into my shop and anchor bolted to the floor. Not to mention the 60 AMP electrical setup. Whew!

Glad that is all done now. 👍🙏😁

Nice.
To anyone in the Southwest, I have a small Vaporhone ready for duty. I don’t think it will quite fit a transmission, but I can check if anyone needs it. I also have a commercial operator locally with more than one for large scale/size work.
