I've just had a nail removed from my rear tyre. The service guy pulled the tyre and put a patch on the inside, which is what I asked for.
When I picked it up I noticed that there were no balancing wieghts, and was told that the Michelin Road Pilot 2's are that good that they don't need balancing. Is this correct?
He did say he marked the position of the rim to tyre and replaced it in the same spot, and rechecked the balance and all was good. I have no reason to doubt his word since he knows more than me. Also I didn't notice if there were any weights pre repair.
Are the new bread of tyre that good?
