Tyre pressures

Katie, I 'like' 2.4 bar (32 psi) front and 2.6 bar (34 psi) rear for my 85 kilo (188 pounds) dressed to ride weight. Guzzi recommends higher pressure in the rear tyre but for me that makes the Stelvio feel like it wants to keep leaning rather than being neutral in corners.

Owner's manual states
TYRES
Front 120 / 70 R19 (60V)
Tyre pressure 2.5 bar (250 kPa)
(36.26 PSI)
Rear 170 / 60 R17 (72V)
Tyre pressure 2.8 bar (280 Kpa)
(40.61 PSI)

Dear Katie, it depends a lot more on what type of tires y'all are running than the bike per se. I'm on my third set of knobbies and they all required different pressure. Whatsmore, I stopped bothering to balance them - with enough vibration weights that are taped over with Gorilla tape even manage to fly off due to the fine dust working its way in between the adhesive. Mix that with river crossings and they don't stand a chance. It also depends if you often ride two up or not. I prefer mine on the soft side for better traction. In short, if you go Green Laning a lot than I recommend less pressure.
