v7 850 windshield

I installed Dart Marlin screen on my V7 Special 850. It helps for cutting the strongest winds from my body, but lets my helmet to be in clean air without turbulence. I'm 6' 2" (188 cm) with 34" inseam. It's not expensive (130 eur) and Dart has 30 days money back quarantee.

For shorter riders Marlin may bee loud. Some turbulence hits my neck. Smaller, Dart Classic S3 screen may fit better for short/medium height riders. Even this bigger Dart Marlin screen isn't any real touring screen, that protects the rider completely against wind and rain. But their appearance fit quite nice for Guzzi V7.

Fitting is very easy. Two mounts are installed under headlight bolts. When you install one att the time, the headlight orientation does not change. Then mount the screen by four bolts onto the mounts, adjust the angle and tighten the adjuster screws. 10 mins.

Rear rack is Hepco&Becker, topcase & plate is Shad and side bag rack is SW-Motech SLC. I have SW-Motech Legend gear tank bag and soft side bags for SLC rack. (Someone will ask about these anyway...). Crash bars Moto Guzzi OEM.

Thank you ever so much. I am thinking of a rear rack too and that is a good pointer. I followed up on the Marlin and was going to order one but it appears that they have stopped making them, unless I am mistaken in my search. Thank you for taking the time to respond, very helpful.

update. Tracked one down from the Dart website after much searching. I think they are being replaced with a screen called the S3 but there are still some left. I may be wrong but that was the impression I got from my searches of various sites. Thank you for letting me know about the Marlin.
