Hey i picked up my V7III Stone last friday. I have only put 200miles on it, and it already has the check engine light on. I would take it straight to the dealer, but they are an hour and a half away and I don't want to ride it that far with the light on. Any suggestions?

Call them, and get them to pick it up. They won't want you to ride it either. If they won't pick up, get this in writing, and then ask the importer what you should do. Not good enough for a new motorcycle.

Inquiring minds want to know. . . What was the result?
I called the shop and they said to ride it for another 20 miles or so and see if it's riding rough. It was riding fine and the light went away. I haven't riden it since the end of April, do to moving to Germany and waiting for it to be shipped here. Once I get it back it's going to a shop to get its first service. I'll keep you updated if anything new happens.

I had a situation recently with my V7II running rough and the check engine light would come on and then it would run fine and the light would go off, then rough again, etc.
It turned out that the connector to one of the fuel injectors was not fully pushed on and latched in place, sometimes losing connection. Pushed the connector home and the problem went away.
