Hello all,

Im on the hunt for some good engine guards for my v7 special 2011. I found a pair of Givi's that are for Guzzi V7 III, does anyone know if they are compatible with the 2011?

But I was referring to the Givi’s TN8202 which are a lot cheaper. But they seem designed for the V7 III, I’m hoping I could also fit them on to the 2011. I’m pretty sure I could, looking at the pics, but just wondered if anyone knew for sure.

I'm pretty sure they changed the shape of the heads or something like that somewhere along the line.

As a certified Retired Old Flatulent on a fixed income, I assure you that I am sensitive to the fisc. My Perfect Pillion & Polish Princess CFO would intervene if I weren't. :giggle:

Now, on the merits, I am virtually certain that the Givi TN8202 will NOT fit your V7.

Guzzi made significant changes to the V7 engine configuration in the I, II, and III models. Those are not especially visible even with careful study.

I have done my share of mods with mending plates, etc., on motorcycles to make square pegs fit round holes. For the most part -- think luggage mounting brackets, aux light mounts -- my work has been in the B+ range.

That said, this application is not one I have tried nor -- given the purpose -- would I risk such.

You may be skilled at metal work, so YMMV.
