Kurt at the Bike Barn ask my direction on doing a drop-bar conversion for the V7 Classic. I recommended "Clubman" bars... click pic below for his website.

Here is a link to the photo of a V7 with Drop Bars…we put bar end mirrors (run low), and it looks good in person, I think most people run the mirrors in the up position, however, I would prefer to put small round chrome bar end mirrors…cant find those though (without spending a fortune).

Here are couple of pictures of the Rizoma mirrors I installed on my V7C. The diameter of the stock bar end weights was too big, so I had a machine shop make a couple in the correct diameter out of aluminum. One thing that I found out was that the weight of the mirrors caused the plug inside the handle bar to loosen up. The mirrors were a little floppy after a couple of days. I thought about spot welding the plug to the inside of the handle bar, but I would have had to remove the grips to do that. I went to the auto parts store and purchased a couple of flat feeler gauges. Found a size that fit tightly between the internal plug and the bar and slowly and gently tapped it in. Problem solved.
