I'm considering updating my stock dual exhaust to Arrow's 2-in-1 system. Can anyone provide some input here?
  • Are there concerns to doing this?
  • Does this cause any additional stress on the engine or valves?
Thanks,
Colt
PS - I'm a noob, so my understanding of benefits for dual exhaust vs. 2-in-1 is limited.

Often after-market pipes offer greater benefits than stock, including more noise which many riders desire. Interesting that they claim the system is Euro 4 compliant, so what are they able to do that the factory can't or won't? Is a reflash of the ECU or fitting a power commander (+ Autotune) required?

High exhaust systems almost always negate the possibility of fitting pannier bags, but this may not be a concern to you. Also, it's not cheap to do, but if it does it for you, then go for it.

You can always un-cork it if it’s too quiet ?

The look and sound of what we want is an individual thing.
otherwise there would only be one Flavour of Ice-cream
