v85tt factory heated grip, need calibration or....?

    My dealer says "no"....plug and play. I ordered a set but want to be sure it's not needed. Can't seem to find an answer with a quick search.......

    I fitted Oxford OF691 Premium Touring heated grips on my V85TT before the factory versions became available. No issues, and probably a lot cheaper than the ones from the factory.

    Thank-you for your input KW, but I wanted to keep it all OEM so I ordered the factory stuff. I used Oxford grips on my V-Strom and loved them.

    factory says recalibrate! some people got by without it. The general consensus is they don't work very well. save your money.

    I love the factory heated grips on mine, had them installed from new by my dealership. Best accessory I have ever specked for a bike IMO :)

    Thanks guys. I also received a "no calibration green light" from AF1 / Ed Cook. Plug and play. Appreciate the feedback.
