In the owners manual, read up and try a tire size correction. It’s the only way you’ll get close to correcting it. It’s NOT an ECU issue. The ECUs only job is to manage the engine.
THANKS for the info re correcting the speedo via going up in tyre diameter !!!
( I have done exactly this - to remedy the speedo error in my Isuzu utility truck )

The standard rear tyre on my V85TT is 150/70 R17 - which has an outside diameter ( the pumped up, rolling diameter ) of around 64cms

My next obvious questions, are : Is there a "popular choice" that people have for the V85TT to :
1) Increase the rolling / outside diameter of the rear tyre ? .............
2) Do I have to increase the diameter of the FRONT tyre as well ( re issues with the ABS "counting" revolutions of both wheels ?!??!? ) - ( I thought that the ABS would be comparing the number of turns of the rear wheel - as compared to the front ......... Yes / No ? )

I'm happy with the ANAKEE ADVENTURE tyre on tar - but, it's nowhere as good on dirt - and CRAP in mud / wet offroad stuff :( ...... I'd LIKE to go more a 50/50 tyre .... which is what an ANAKEE WILD is supposed to be ....... I now know that the rolling / outside diameter of the ANAKEE ADVENTURE tyre is around 64cms in diameter - therefore I would need to find a tyre that has an outside, rolling diameter that's around 70cms ( in order to fix the speedo error ) .... so ....

3) Does anybody KNOW what the outside rilling diameter of an ANAKEE WILD tyre IS ?!?

( NOTE : I suspect that the tyre that is going to correct this speedo error would have to be a different configuration thought - IE : perhaps a 150/90 .... or a 170/70 - in order to get a TALLER wall on the tyre )

ANY advice would be VERY much appreciated !!!

Cheer for now

PS : Just had an after thought ....
The OTHER obvious "fix" ( re speedo error ) would be to remake the two Hall-Effect ABS sensor discs on each wheel hub .... so that they had 10% MORE SLOTS in them ...... Has ANYBODY had a go at doing this ?!?!?!?!?

Shouldn’t that be 10% fewer slots?
