Anyone else have a similar problem? - After a riding about 50 miles and stopping for a coffee my V85tt would not start. Side stand up, on center stand and in neutral, all it would do was turn over once then stop. The bike had gas and the battery was charged but it would only do the initial turn over then stop. (As if the start button was being pushed then released.) After disconnecting the negative terminal and waiting a few minutes, it started right up and was fine the rest of the day. I assume this reset the ECU. Is this an indicator of problems to come or is it a "they all do that" event?
TIA

Never heard of this, but I have run into a corrosion issue on the battery terminal that can cause similar problem, as in no start. I'd recommend removing both battery connections and cleaning them so this shouldn't happen again.

I assume this reset the ECU.
Hard no. Per John’s words above and for the 8-trillionth time, see below. ;)

LOAD TEST your battery. This is discussed ad nauseaum in the forums. I would not be the slightest surprised to find out that it fails a load test.
