• NOTICE: The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com completely lost his home on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone effected in this horrific disaster.

2021 v9 bobber front right indicator burnt out on a ride. Parked up to have a walk and my mate said your lights burnt out and melted the lens and interior case. Came back ordered new indicator replaced it.
Just Pulled out, after not using for 6 weeks to put on ramp to do a service, and light had melted the lens. But was not on. Took apart touched bulb and bulb came on. Ignition not on. Started the bike, used the indicator switch and worked fine. It blinked and turned off fine. Then Shut off the ignition.
All stayed off then right bulb came on again, as I tried to reassemble. Used test light attached to ground wire, touching the live inside bulb holder, it lite up. (Had a similar issue with my v7 kept blowing the 5 amp fuse…was a short in the instrument cluster).
Faulty ground on FR indicator only? Open to thoughts. Also need to find the wiring schematic as did not get is, bought second hand did not even have owners manual.
Cheers and all the best
JW

Turn signals are controlled by the dash. You may need to send your dash to Carmo for evaluation and repair. E-mail them with what is happening and they may be able to help you out. The V9 wiring diagram is available in the downloads. If you upgrade your account you will have access to it and workshop manual.

Thanks for this. Not sure from your link how to upgrade account but will look under my profile.
