Hi

I'm trying to check the oil level on my V9 Bobber (it has had a lot of dealer checks, so I'm not being lazy!) I cannot seem to get it to twist off. Am I being a dipstick? I'm worried I'll crack it with the amount of pressure I'm applying. Or is it a case of just pulling it out?

*Nothing covers this in the manual!

Thank you! Now I don't feel like a fool! It's a shame the postage is so expensive, $35 to the UK!
I think I can get it into a flat rate postage envelope for slightly less, or we can try first class post. Email me; Todd at GuzziTech.com

Have to thank GT for offering this tool. The first time I went to check the oil, I ran into the "too tight to unscrew" problem. With this little tool in the under seat toolkit, it's very easy to properly tighten or loosen the dipstick without marring it.

Got a good deal on postage so it's on its way! Happy days!
