I was having a hair pulling and screaming session trying to get my VDTS to communicate with the bikes ECM, It had previously worked. I uploaded the latest software from Techno Research and Keyspan to no avail, After a period of great frustration and several brews, I came to the conclusion that something was broke. Long story short, The cable that Techno Research supplies from the VDTS module to the Keyspan adapter is a 3 conductor one, one of the leads in the BNC connector on the module side was broken off the lug looked like a bad solder connection. I re soldered it closed up the connector and all is well again. Just a heads up as that cable seems to be the weak link. I have applied generous amount of tape on both ends to stiffen it up where it goes into the plug.
