Greetings to all Guzzi-owners out there!
I am very interested in buying a brand-new "Breva 750". In my opinion the small "Breva" is a real beauty. I even think that its Italian design is a feast for the eyes! And dealers as well as some experienced motorcyclists keep telling me that the technical construction is robust and trustworthy ... Well, I am aged 40 now. And I do think it´s time now for riding a "Guzzi"! This would be the fulfillment of a childhood dream of mine.
- But I do feel one big doubt: What about the availability of spare parts??? After my local dealer here in Vienna had told me about a center-stand being available for the "Breva 750", I ordered this accessory part. - But I did not get the chance to spend Euro 199 for that fucking center-stand! - It has appeared that the factory in Italy is unable to deliver that spare part! - So I guess there must be a whole lot of other "Moto Guzzi"-spare parts being simply unavailable!? Do "Guzzi"-spare parts just exist on patient paper??
Who has picked up experience with the availability of original "Moto Guzzi"-spare parts? Is it advisable to buy a brand-new "Breva 750"? I have owned some Japanese motorcycles up to now. Therefore I am used to a nearly perfect spare-part-service ...

Hi Gonzo,

Try at Agostini in Mandello. Very professinal service!
Having MG's for 16 years and no problem with spare parts till now.

I cannot imagine spare parts being a problem.
The 750 Breva are practically identical to all smallblcoks produced since 1972, and will still share most parts with the current Nevada and V7Classic.
What could be missing in a far future are the plastic parts.
If your dealer can't get a center stand, go for the Hepco&Becker center stand for the Breva, item # 505532. Actually the same goes for the Nevada, and probably even the V7.

Also you'll save €25.

For spare parts otherwise; SteinDinse in Germany or Teo Lamers in Holland are fast and reliable, as Agostini in Mandello.
Also my experiences with the present host here, Guzzitech and MotoInternational in Seattle are very good for special parts.

A while ago, earlier on in the Piaggio era, parts were a big problem. no longer the case. Get pretty much everything I want from my dealer here in the US in a week or two tops. Only exception was a part that was being redesigned for increased reliability, that took about a month-& has so far been trouble free on the redesign.
