Hi there GuzziTech,

Have a pair of these on my '10 V7 Cafe and need to replace one (though assuming I need to buy as a pair). Flash from the photo obscures the Moto Guzzi emblem right in the middle.

Can't recall where I bought them 4 years ago, or find manufacturer info online. Here they are on an Aussie site: http://motociclo.com.au/products/bi...i/general-small-block/clone-small-block-fin-p.

My bike:

Weren't those made by Joe Kenny? I think he went into a retirement, but I could be wrong. Used to see them at a couple of sites, including Ebay.

I use these guards from Ray's, formerly from Finebauforge, at rayjan140@btinternet.com
Tell him I sent you (really!). I crashed in Canada and they save my bike, allowing me to ride 500+ miles home (with two broken bones. I wasn't having any of that Canadian medicine.)

He is supposed to be making more of these for me to stock and sell in the Store here. I do have one set to sell. Contact me direct.

Appreciate the quick replies.

Todd - used the conversation feature to contact you - assuming that is the best method.

Beyond the Australian site, are the guards I have no longer available? I really like both the function and form.

As for function, I didn't put them through the toughest of tests. Dodged a dog while poking along at 20mph on a one lane country road, hitting the deck as soon as I touched the soft, wet grass of a cow pasture. The guard did get bent down and took a blow from a rock and has some scratch marks. Picked it up and rode it 100 miles home. Had my race leathers on and I'm no worse for wear, so can't complain.
