Today they replaced my collectors because the factory ones had come out defective.
In English, we call those pipes, the exhaust headers which then go back to connect to the exhaust canister.
It`s hard for non-english speakers to find the right words. What I have seen those can be called headers, collectors and exhaust manifolds And then there is mufflers/silencers and db-killers/baffles etc.
But after all it`s most important that we understand each other. United by one, divided by zero
Headers come off of the valve head. They go down and curve back where there is usually a cross pipe, also called an H pipe, this then continues into the catalytic converter or collector, which then connects to the exhaust pipe or muffler.
English is a convoluted language at best.
I've gotten to the point where I'm finding the Arrow cans (mufflers, silencers) just too darned loud (yes, I wear earplugs, 33 db reducing, and full face ARAI), and it gets tiring on longer rides, so I'm thinking of replacing them with "normal" V7 mufflers, and I guess I'd have to find the correct hangers (passenger peg brackets). Would it take a different ECU mapping?
Thanks for the note re. earplugs. I'm using
