Vancouver Island Guzzisti

Saturday the 8th is Spunky's Show and Shine in Parksville. The only event on the Island worth going to (I have tried a few).
Lots of European and Japanese. Hot dogs!
Don't miss it.

"Pre 1985 classics and customs", that's a bit of a bummer to be limiting the machines involved. Ah well, maybe another time.

We met at the above event. You were riding a red B12 Sport and had issues with "Service Alerts". I may have some answers to the problem, having just rectified my own. If you lost my card, try (250) 729-8979.

Hi
Anyone us SG Power in Victoria lately (past year or so) to service a Moto Guzzi? Are they any good? Do they know what they are doing?

I had my Anniversario in at SG last summer for it's 3000 KM service. Very friendly staff, and I feel that they did a great job. I went over the bike when I got it home and checked very carefully and they did everything that was listed to do. I did not find any loose fasteners or other issues. Very happy with the service.

I have lived on the Island the last 15 years, and although I stop in at SG from time to time, I have no experience with their service dept.
I rearly meet other Guzzi riders, so little feed back about them from others over here.
If you are in Vancouver, check out Chilliwack Motorcycles @ 46745 Yale Road. I believe Gord Hill is retired, but his son Matt is running the business in this new location since last year. Gord had a great reputation as a mechanic, and surely has past on his Guzzi knowledge to Matt, as they worked together for a few years servicing our favorite brand and others.
Good shops seem to be getting scarce these days.....

Free to good Island home.
Front and rear seats from my '01 Jackal. Undamaged. Build a Bobber, or lower your seat height.
No rips or damage.
I'm in Nanaimo. Come and get them. Would prefer not to ship.
If you are interested, reach me at 250-729-8979 or here. Maybe a donation to this site....Guzzi seats.webp Underside view.webp

Wow nice to see more than one or two Guzzi riders on the island, one of these fine days when the wind slows and ferries resume the normal cadence I will attempt to escape my small section of highway and come visit! I bought my first Guzzi after last years motorcycle show from Langley, although it took until April to bring my 07 Breva 750 home due to a minor issue of getting a charge. I put on just under 10 000 kms last year before snow and significant loss of spark removed the plates for the season. Once I get the ignition repaired I am interested in doubling this years mileage before winter strikes the wet coast again.
Saltery Bay isn't too far away, only a ferry...or so ;-)
