This is a subtle Canadian issue. V7 850's intended for the Canadian market have a 2-position light switch (part 2D000307) instead of the 3-position one (part 2D00056) in the USA. This probably means there is no easy way to get a daytime riding light in the Canadian bikes. If you really want the illuminated eagle, and the stars align properly, it might be possible to swap in a USA switch. As far as I can see, the headlight itself, the instrument panel, and all the wiring are the same in both USA and Canadian V7 850's. Good luck!
Having the engine in spec will eliminate this. Valve lash, and TPS set/check. Make sure no intake or exhaust leaks. The stock air filter is a known leaker.About 20000 miles on my v85tt 2019 it has developed symptoms of stalling when the engine gets hot. No temperature lights, just won't idle below 2000 rpm.
Mechanics gonna change the temp guage just now.
