I have a 2016 V7 II Racer. I want to put a chrome tank on it. I found a chrome tank for it, part number 606133m. That tank cross references for a 2016 V7 II stone but not a racer. Is that just because a Chrome tank wan't offered for the racer or will I find other fit issues? Thanks

Any 2013-2016 tank will work. Eveything is the same and will transfer over. Be sure you have the all metal fuel filter in the process;

That's great. Thanks. What other gaskets/pieces should I have? The new tank is bare so everything will be swapped over. Thanks

Everything on your tank should swap over. However, you might want a new gasket for the fuel pump assembly. Sometimes a re-use works, and sometimes it doesn't.

The gasket is thick rubber and should be reusable. Click on the STORE tab above, and if you don’t see it, email us using the CONTACT tab on the Store.

Hope you’ll add your info to our Registry;

Since I'll be in there I would like to change the gasket. I don't see it in the store. Can you guide me to it?

Hylomar Blue will make any gasket in contact with fuel, seal bone dry forever yet come right apart if disassembly is required at some later point. I cannot state enough good things about Hylomar Blue. I use it almost daily all year long.

Ok I just ordered it. I'll put a thin film on each side of the old gasket.
I feel like there is a joke in there about using it daily, but I'll just let it go.

Anyone know how to change my location in my profile? I speeled Bosston incorrectly and I can't figure out how to edit it in profile. So that is like two stupid things in succession. Which is like a great way to introduce yourself to a new community.

When you are signed in, your name appears at the top of the page, click it then "Account Details" you can edit there. To save you some time I fixed it for you.

I also don't have permission to post on the classifieds. Is that a request an admin, or time in community thing? FYI I am looking for the brown suede seat and matching tank straps for the V7 racer.

I used to work for a gas turbine refurbishment company that used hylomar blue all the time
It's good stuff 👌
I made a grave mistake in not liberating a tube when they made me redundant 🤬🤬
