Looking for some thoughts from you guys on getting this addressed via dealer. Just below the alternator near the belt. I used a swab to check if it was wet and it is ( after an hour ride). I've never noticed any further drips and I can't see it running anywhere on the motor housing.

What color is your bike, red?
That’s it you know… 🤣
Nah, seriously I don’t know.
Checked your oil level for possible overfill?
Common issue it seems.
In that region, is it above the clutch?
There is a service bulletin for some o-rings or sealing for the clutch.
I actually had my first yearly service done today.
Small local certified MG workshop instead of the big dealer (Sweden).
First V100 they had for service so far, but all good.
They checked MG agent for possible recalls or service bulletins, but MG agent in Sweden have low quality apparently (as the rumor said) and hadn’t presented any recalls or bulletins yet.
Officially that is, but on phone they claimed there was for now at least the clutch sealing.
So my local shop was progressive and both checked this thoroughly and ordered the parts.
They will do the job in some weeks as the parts are expected then.
Well handled by the local shop.

However, the first 100 mile service wasn’t registered in the MG service system(!).
That means that the big fancy dealership hadn’t registered the first service!
And a year ago I even expressed my concerns when I picked up the bike for exactly this.
“Oh no, no worries, you don’t need a service book with stamps dear customer”
“It’s safe as we have registered the service online in MG’s system”
…yeah right, despite my expressed concerns and ask for a guarantee that I will have the service history safe, they failed badly.
Now I have to call them and ask them to register it retroactively and confirm with screenshots to me.
I will see how they will meet my request…
Edit: I sent them an email yesterday, and they responded and retroactively registered the service within 15 minutes!

I’ve had to tighten about 5 engine casing bolts, after seeing fluid seeping (that was at about 2-3k miles). Could be something like that. Especially if it just started.🧐.

That was my first thought, I'll see if I can easily get to the nearby bolts.

Fortunately the clutch is below that area and I've already had the seals replaced. I did check the oil level right after the ride just to make sure nothing was out of spec and it is in good shape.

That is the coolant pump cover joint that is leaking. A reasonably easy fix.

A different kind of "minor oil leak".

A day or so after returning from having the first service done, I notice a few drops of oil on the garage floor.
Upon closer examination it seems that its leaking from the rubber boot between the swing arm and gear box. No doubt a gear box seal of some description /gear box shaft seal maybe?

Cleaned it up and no issues for a few hundred K's , then after a blast yesterday the leak has returned.
Spoken to the dealer, which I must admit have been great (they're 500ks or so away) who wish to inspect the bike and then will order the parts to resolve the issue.

With winter upon us, I dont fancy the possibility of riding thru snow to get there ( or taking the long way which involves a freeway work ..to get to the dealership). So I'm going to hold off 2/3 months before addressing the problem. Saying that I'll constantly be checking the oil level to ensure I don't have a swing arm filling up with oil. If anyone has had the same issue let me know, will keep you posted of the outcome.

FYI Bike has only done 2600ks or so since purchasing it a couple of weeks ago.

Looks like it could be the drive shaft oil seal. If it is then the engine will have to come out.

Took the bike in for its 12k service earlier this week and to get the oil leak resolved. As suspected it was the drive shaft oil seal thats causing the issues. Motor didn't have to come out of the bike to get to the seal, but it was quite involved.
