What color is your bike, red?
That’s it you know…

Nah, seriously I don’t know.
Checked your oil level for possible overfill?
Common issue it seems.
In that region, is it above the clutch?
There is a service bulletin for some o-rings or sealing for the clutch.
I actually had my first yearly service done today.
Small local certified MG workshop instead of the big dealer (Sweden).
First V100 they had for service so far, but all good.
They checked MG agent for possible recalls or service bulletins, but MG agent in Sweden have low quality apparently (as the rumor said) and hadn’t presented any recalls or bulletins yet.
Officially that is, but on phone they claimed there was for now at least the clutch sealing.
So my local shop was progressive and both checked this thoroughly and ordered the parts.
They will do the job in some weeks as the parts are expected then.
Well handled by the local shop.
However, the first 100 mile service wasn’t registered in the MG service system(!).
That means that the big fancy dealership hadn’t registered the first service!
And a year ago I even expressed my concerns when I picked up the bike for exactly this.
“Oh no, no worries, you don’t need a service book with stamps dear customer”
“It’s safe as we have registered the service online in MG’s system”
…yeah right, despite my expressed concerns and ask for a guarantee that I will have the service history safe, they failed badly.
Now I have to call them and ask them to register it retroactively and confirm with screenshots to me.
I will see how they will meet my request…
Edit: I sent them an email yesterday, and they responded and retroactively registered the service within 15 minutes!
