From a google search
moto guzzi 1400 with can bus error
if you have disconnected the dash and are getting the CAN CODE ERROR after reconnecting an original dash, try using the original key block and if still doesn't...
My Eldorado passed muster, the tech says they take off the RF caliper put a wedge into the pads area then a feeler gauge into the back of the MC piston if the wedge pulls free after the MC feeler gauge is removed then the system is good, took about 45 mins
went to go riding today pressure still holding at 40 PSI in my rear wheel,
when I change the front tire the same coating will be applied to the rim as a preventive measure
My 2016 Eldorado has had an air leak from the spokes on the rear wheel and the air inlet.
This is mostly due to the fact that the wheel is made of bare aluminum,
Once water gets onto the spokes then water wicks down the nipples and corrosion starts,
then the O rings that seal the rim start...
Just a note about the Eldo rear fender .
It is made so it can be removed then the rear tire is removed,
it sounds like a lot of taking things apart but takes about 10 mins to have the fender off ,
I use a jack stand under each passenger peg and tie the front brake lever on.
also remove the heat...
well done , thanks for the writeup When i checked/changed my rear drive oil
I used the rear pegs to put on jackstands then removed the rear fender ,
this took about 10 mins to remove the bolts and few zip ties for the tail wire harness,
I put tape arounf the front brake lever so the tire wont roll
I found some stuff called fluid film at the John Deere dealer,
I am waiting for a warm day to spray it into the spoke nipple holes on the outside of the rim
This stuff will stop the corrosion and possibly seal the rubber to the rim,
might try pulling a vacuum on the wheel
nothing to lose at...
any name brand silicone spray should work,
the idea is to prevent water from wicking into the nipples and then the rim corroding around the O rings.
I really wish they made the rim with higher quality materials and took the time to put a protective coating on the aluminum
FWIW I fit the driver comfort seat from the MGX 21 onto my Eldorado the rear bolster is about an inch shorter but otherwise its quite similar, the foam in the comfort seat is also more dense so it offers a stiffer seating area that means for me its more comfortable.
The stock Eldo seat has...
FWIW it would be wise to spray some silicone into the spoke nipple holes so the O rings and the aluminum rims dont corrode and start leaking ..
I have this issue it looks like the rims are made from bare aluminum and once they get a few wet cycles
the aluminum corrodes at the spoke nipple O...
if each nipple has a O ring then the rim is open to the elements,
they didnt anodize the rims so any liquid will then provoke corrosion at the nipple /rim interface.
That said it might be prudent to take the rim apart and have it polished then anodized ,
then rebuilt with fresh O rings and...
anyone else having issues with the tubeless spoked wheel leaking at the spokes.
I find my rear tire wont hold pressure and soapy water confirms about 4 spokes with leaks,
I think they have O rings under each nipple,
these bare aluminum rims are not the best quality and corrode easily,
they...
tighten the header clamps at the heads not too tight.
NOTE might wanna take each nut off and put anti seize on the threads first.
Check the heat shields put anti on those bolts as well,
check them all after 100 miles.
Check the pipes under the heat shields for cracks .
get a helper to hold...
OK so bend the bent tab to provide the required grip ,
Based on your picture one of the securing tabs is bent.
If that wont work put a dab of grease on it then insert the pads
