Mine always powered up but wouldn’t start. Part of my trouble shooting was to run jumper cables from a known good regular lead acid battery (from our boat).
Yes I solved it. The ground lug/cable on the back of the engine was loose. I removed the nut, wire brushed all mating surfaces and tightened the nut with Loctite. All that time I wasted and money spent replacing parts. It was a 5-minute fix.
Bike has been starting fine since my last post. Today it rained while at work and the bike is back to click-no-start behavior. Will hose it down with Deoxit when my rescue arrives with the can. The dash is live, the N light is on. While holding the start button I can hear the relay clicking over...
☝️Agree with preloading the shifter. Discovered this on my own. Shifts are noticeably much smoother and faster. I didn't know it had to do with European clutches, thought it was just removing backlash from the system.

I did a bunch of starter tests: bench test, test on bike with jumper cables and external battery, etc. I noticed the wonky N light behavior stopped when I left...

My 2017 V7III Racer is down for the count. Seems like "startus interrputus". Pushing the start button the first time I get a quick "chug" from the starter then, after that, only the relay under the tank clicks.
I replaced the starter relay, tried different batteries, took apart and cleaned and...
I bought a set of Stinger Megs for my Racer based mainly on this video. First ride today was amazing. I have 10,000 miles on the stock setup so I know it's characteristics well. I added the tune and SAS block-off too. It's like getting a new bike.
