Hi Bill, it wasn't a waste of time, searching on google is what lunch times are for these days :)
I'm planning a big day out if the weather is good and hopefully, I'll have an interesting picture for you in a few weeks. ;)
I try to use famous roads so that it may be possible to work out where it is even if someone has not travelled it. If they have travelled it then it will be instantly recognizable... I hope .
The road with all the armco barriers is the Mulsanne straight on the Le Mans Circuit de La Sarthe...
Here's the first one, it was taken from under the bridge, it's the Millau Viaduct on the A75 in France. This doesn't show all of it, it's 2.5Km long! If you google it there are better pics on the web.
Here's a clue for the second one, also in France. The road was closed last weekend for an...
Bill you're almost there, it's the Ponte Della Mille Miglia.
Take a trip along it on goole earth, it's a tiny piece of Italian motoring history.

I've skim read most of this and I think we're looking at three possible causes, fueling mixture, ignition or a cylinder head problem. I'll offer my thoughts on the mixture.
The picture of the spark plugs doesn't show what you should be looking for, you need to look inside them. You also want...
Don't try and drill it, you can end up in a world of pain.
It's only a small screw and can be tapped out by using a pin punch that has a pointed end and a small hammer. Whack your first dent with the punch square on near the edge, then hold the punch at a tangent to the screw and tap it round...
Just seen this one, have you been yet? We need pics! :)
I went over in June, east to west it was fine on the east side with just a few spots of rain near the top. Over the top and going down to Bormio it was in cloud and I could only see 20 meters in front, quite scary when you meet a camper van...
Removing an air box can cause problems. The air box gives a chamber of still-ish air to be sucked into the throttle bodies. If you have an open bell mouth or even one with a free flowing filter there is a lot of turbulence around the intake which causes drops in pressure (like the venturi...
