Griso suddenly wont start (will try, stumbles, but dies)

Archer, this exact same scenario happened with my 2000 Buell Thunderbolt this year (start for second after energizing pump, bubbles swirling a bit). It was the fuel pump. Drained tank, swapped what was the original pump for a new one, and now all is fine. Good luck.

    V85 highway riding impressions

Different engine I know, but my Norge started to really smooth out at about the 6,000 mile mark, then got even smoother as the miles piled on. By 10,000 miles, smooth as silk.

    V85TT Registry and pic thread

Hi Derek, I agree on leaving the code alone, or doing something really simple like 00001. Then, no matter what, write it down in ink in your owners manual. I got lost in the woods on this very subject a few years ago, and had to find my way back.....

UK V85TT Meeting, NMM, Solihull, Saturday 19th October.

Chris, thanks so much for posting. We are kindred spirits - besides my love of the UK, I too owned a T160 Electric Start Trident. Bought it brand new while in college in 1976 as a leftover, then kept it for 25 years. I never should have sold it. Regrets to this day. Please post photos of your meet.

You're bringing tears to my eyes. One of the greatest days ever was my trip to NMM a couple of years ago on vacation. Slippery Sam indeed! Wish I could be there. Have a great time.

    V7 III or T120 black?

Stock, the Guzzi will have more character than the Triumph. Add a simple set of British Customs polished slip ons to the Triumph, and all things change... This from an old guy who likes quiet bikes. The Thruxton with the new mufflers is magic holding the upshifts. Spectacular music to the ears.

    V7 III or T120 black?

I'll chime in here. Though I don't own either a V7III of a T120 Black, I do own both a Norge and a Triumph Thruxton. Different bikes, but same manufacturer(s). I've got about 18,000 miles on my Moto Guzzi, and it has been extremely reliable. Only thing I've done is tires and fluid changes. The...
