I just purchase a Techno Diag tool.Hooked it up and the tool tells me:
Throttle position Sensor;Short circuit to Battery
Battery Volt;Open cirucit/short circuit to battery
Now if this is so why would I get a good reading on my diagnostic screen for the TPS? I can move the throttle and see it on the screen. If it was shorted, would it still do this? Anyone see this, and if so what was the fix?
Thanks for the help :(

Scotty, these are just stored codes, not likely active ones if the bike's running OK. Often is the battery terminals are removed or the battery goes dead, you will see these.

Scotty,

Go ahead and clear these codes (active settings I believe). I've also seen the codes you mention and after clearing them, they did not re-appear. If they re-appear, then it may warrant investigation. I've seen fault codes on coils, and the bike runs, but after replacing the coils, the bike runs better and the faults don't re-appear.

Thanks Guy's,
But the bike is not running, any thoughts? I haven't cleared the codes yet. :( I have replaced the throttle sensor, just finshed unplugging all the connections,WD40'd them and re-connected. The air sensor warning came on after I unplugged it, then plugged it back in. I've tested the air sensor, and it reads normal, the throttle sensor shows it's working when you twist the throttle.I'm ready to take it to a dealer.....

You didn't tell us earlier it wasn't running. So when you turn the key on, do you hear the fuel pump cycle? Does the engine turn over? Did you follow the procedure in the VDSTS post on how to set the TPS?

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the imput. I went back to look at my gas line inside the tank. Guess what, a small crack. Replaced, starts right up!Damn, that was the first thing I checked and didn't see it.Guess I better start wearing those glasses all the time!!!!!!!! Jamie Mueller of GR talked to me about it and pointed me back to the gas line,Thank you Jamie!
