About to purchase a Breva 1100 (55000klm),is there any pertinent questions I should ask the seller

You are most welcome.

It is imperative that you get at least one key and a working User Code.

It is more preferable to get 2 different keys (unique transponder codes) which are already registered in the dashboard, where this will allow you to reset the User Code in the dashboard.

Unfortunately you really need to review an Owner’s Manual to be fully familiar with what I am counseling you about here.
 
Read up on sacred screw so that you're aware,
IMO it's not a deal breaker if it's been messed with as you can get pretty close to where it was with a bit of cunning

Apart from that it's a fantastic bike. I still think fondly of mine
 
I owned a 2007 Norge for several years. It had basically the same engine as the 2005 Breva you're looking at.

My Norge was possessed of electrical demons, which may not affect your earlier model Breva with fewer gimmicks such as power windshield. Even so, it was a magnificent machine which I loved completely. ...And that Sound...
