The main headlight on my Breva is really very good but the consequence of this is that the full-beam makes little difference to the dipped-beam. Has anyone else experienced this or fitted something brighter for full-beam?

Steve.

Hi Steve, you can vary the H7 bulb Halfords sometimes do deals on the 50% brighter bulbs. You will find low beam filament fails regularly 2 a year (the vibes) so I a 2 pack cheap. Riding around Chichester the traffic is terrible and the road surface appaulling. The best mod for a B11 is a decat. it improves the revvyness of the engine it spins up faster and with a mistal it sounds nice keeps you safe filtering through traffic.

Bikes aren't reqd. to have a cat in the UK. Utube a griso1100 with mistral without baffle to hear the awesome sound of of a hemi engine. I put the baffle back in for the MOT just in case it's to loud. A decat (mistral £200) will work with the original silencer the cat bag is replaced with pipe. Probably doesn't balance the gas flow as well as a bag might be a bit vibey after but loses the excess heat.
