Just got back from a trip through the northeastern US (PA, NY, VT, NH, ME, MA) and nearly 2300 miles. The V100 was a great bike and comfortable with the upgrades I have completed. We fortunately had great riding weather outside of one thunderstorm that popped up on us in the mountains. The bike ran/handled well, got nearly 50 MPG for the entire trip and had plenty of room for touring with the factory panniers. We also went to the top of Mt Washington and Mt Greylock, first time I'd actually heard the fan running after I turned off the bike at the top of Mt Washington. I modified an old tank bag to fit on the rear pillion seat just to hold water/snacks for the day. For those that haven't ridden up to the wilderness of Maine, I highly recommend it.

Awesome trip for you - congrats (and, great to hear the V100 did great!)!! Hopefully, you didn’t get to experience the incredible 200+ MPH winds possible at the top of Mt Washington! Welcome back👍😁

Fortunately only gusts up to 40-50 the day we were up there. It was a fun ride up/ down even though you never made it out of 2nd gear most of the time.
