  • There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. Great to be here, folks! I'm based in California and I've been riding motorcycles for almost 30 years now. I presently own a 1979 1000SP that I bought off of BaT in non-running condition after longing for a Tonti-framed Guzzi forever. I've christened her "Fari" and I've only recently got her running. My daily driver is a 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700 that I also ride off-road. I really enjoy customizing the bike to suit my needs and there's a ton of aftermarket parts on the Tenere as a result. I also have a 1986 BMW R80RT that was modified into an R100 street bike of sorts by the previous owner. I bought it build my own custom airhead but I made the mistake of tearing into it before having a clear plan and it's been on a jack awaiting my attention for the last few years. I intend on building a custom bike out of the Guzzi as well, but this time I've resolved to getting her in sound shape mechanically, getting the BMW running, and then starting the Guzzi build.

Time and space are scarce given my work and other hobbies, but I'm committed to the process and love learning. I look forward to standing on the shoulders of giants and learning about my "new" old bike. I hope that one day I can share my knowledge with others as well!

Welcome to the forum. Most of the information you need will be in the Loop and Tonti section. If you can't find what you need, ask in that section.

Thanks! Yes - my first one. My bike honestly rides like crap now compared to a modern bike but I haven't experienced this kind of feeling from the motor on any bike I've ridden thus far. I can see why they're addictive and folks end up with more than one, lol.

Just added my bike's info in the registry thread.
