All is quiet on the Stelvio front…

Ha, well they've all fled over to the "Ride the World" Forum where everything lives under one subject heading and has a completely disorganized format with an exhausting regurgitation of info.

Unfortunately I've got a trapped nerve in my back giving me pain from my right buttock down to my toes. Haven't been able to ride.
Having said that, I was determined to ride the Stelvio this morning and managed to do a lap around the block, with some discomfort:eek: but it was worth it. Love the Stelvio.:)

Just an FYI…

The manual is available in the Downloads section.

Enzo, also has them on his website at cadrecycle.com

Find your self a Acupuncturist to treat you like a pin cushion, it helped a herniated disk condition for me!

Hi Scott, thanks so much for your response. Prior to my initial post I had spent time scouring the "Service Station Manual", but now I know there is also an "Owners Manual", which I grabbed from cardecycle.com. Once again, I thank you for your help. Maurice

Well it has been along time since I posted here. I have a 2012 NTX, which I have accumulated a low 12,000 km. Not a lot of Kim's since I bought but I have retired not and am looking forward to more riding this year. I preparation new Michelin Pilot Road 5 tires, new fork seals and lastly a rear engine seal soon. Every time I get on the bike I love it more.

Working through my 2009 NTX project slowly, using all the info in previous posts.
New bearings, linkage and boot on the rear suspension, I used grease too!!
Upper and lower sump gaskets replaced, hoepfully will solve the RH chain rattle
Front end stripped, fork oil and head bearings changed, I used the optional grease too! Surprisingly the bearings weren't bad at all and I suspect original for the 47k Miles. Front wheel bearings very bad
New alternator belt about to go on (original looks usable tho), neutral switch and boots for ECT and oil pressure switch. TB's off, dirty on the outside as you'd expect after 47k miles on the Queens' highways. They weren't dirty inside, neither was the air box really but the linkage ball joints have wear, rod ends on order. In two minds to fit them or leave it as is then change at a later date and see the difference
Interestingly they had 'Proto' engraved on them Prototype possibly?
Luggage racks were bad (corrosion) so they're off with other bracketry to the powder coaters
new loom tape going on where it's been pulled back or removed when I look in more depth at the electrical side
All interspersed with 2 weeks at home for Covid and working on the car and ZZR 1100 too
