Hello from California. Wow, there are a big bunch of Guzzi riders in Australia and New Zealand! Anyone know someone who makes a trailer hitch for a 1400 Moto Guzzi California Touring bike? YouTube mentions a gentleman named Wayne Dingle (pardon me if I misspelled his name) from Shadow Trailers but I can't seem to find any contact information. I want to tow an old NZ-made Uni-Go trailer behind my '14 Tourer. Any leads would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Pete

I think Uni-go trailers are now made in the States (Jacksonville- Fl) have you contacted them directly to see if they can help?
Otherwise Tourmaster in the Netherlands makes a 1400 California touring hitch ( google them or Schuring trailers).

FYI, Searching the local web, I believe Wayne Dingle/Shadow Trailers was based in South Australia but I notice that they cancelled their ABN (Australian Business Number) in Feb 2012 so one can only assume they have ceased trading.
Good luck
Tony

Thank you for your time and research, Tony. Uni-go  is now in the States, and told me they do not make such a hitch. Schuring in the Netherlands makes one for about $800 USD but, frankly, that seems pretty steep to me. It's just a hitch! Harley and Goldwing hitches run about $350 USD here. Why a hitch for a 1400 Cal Tourer is more than double those costs is beyond me. Not much demand, I guess. The good news: we are an elite bunch. Cheers!
